ASPIRE - LEARN - FLOURISH
The Aspire Learning Federation is made up of two schools - Elm Park Primary School and R J Mitchell Primary School in the London Borough of Havering.

Friends of Elm Park Primary
We aim to bring parents, staff, and pupils together to create a welcoming school community and to raise funds that enrich every child’s learning experience. We raise money to provide resources and opportunities that the school budget can’t always cover, such as:
- Books and classroom materials
- Workshops
- Playground equipment
FoEPPS events help bring families, pupils, and staff together, creating a positive atmosphere.

Helping Hands
The Helping Hands group is made up of parents and guardians who have kindly offered their time to support FOEPPS. We are very mindful not to overwhelm members with frequent requests for help — we understand that most people have commitments outside the school gates, and we truly respect that.
Some members are able to help in person at events, while others support us by spreading the word to parents through messages or general chats. Support doesn’t always have to be tied to planned events; although help on the day is always appreciated, word of mouth about events and fundraising is just as valuable.
Please don’t feel obliged to help at every event. Our aim is to grow the group gradually, with members from different year groups across the school, bringing a wide range of skills, abilities, and levels of availability.
If you are interested in joining the group, or would like to chat with someone about any ideas or support you may be able to offer, please contact us via the email address provided. We would love to hear from you and continue the conversation.

Meeting Information
Events & Fundraisers
Each year, we hold a variety of events that bring together pupils, teaching staff, and the wider school community. These may include discos, fetes, bazaars, gift sales, and the occasional surprise event along the way.
Our Tuck Shop is open every Wednesday, offering a range of sweets, chocolates, crisps, popcorn, and drinks at very reasonable prices. During the summer term, we also sell ice creams and lollies.
We hold a pre-loved uniform sale on a regular basis which will soon be moving to an online resource. The cost of school uniform can be a burden for many families, yet children often outgrow their uniform long before it reaches the end of its usable life. By offering a second-hand uniform service, we can help reduce costs for parents, raise valuable funds, and ensure perfectly good items are kept out of landfill.
FOEPPS work closely with ‘Recycled Clothing Banks’ a clothing recycling company specialising in allowing school communities to recycle. The textile recycling scheme is a great way to raise additional funds for our school and also teach pupils about the importance of recycling to help keep our planet safe. We request for all donations of pre-loved textiles to be placed in the brown donation bins in the courtyard. Donations of pre-loved uniform can also be placed in these bins.
